Almost 560 million rubles will be additionally allocated from the federal budget to support specialized educational and research centers for gifted children. We are talking about centers in leading Russian universities. They operate as boarding schools — the state provides accommodation and meals for children. Young scientists from distant regions of the country become students of such centers.
Out of the pledged 560 million rubles, 153.7 million will go to Moscow State University. MV Lomonosov and 117.2 million — St.Petersburg State University. Another 290 million rubles of this amount will go to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, which will finance educational and research centers of the Novosibirsk National Research University and the Ural Federal University.
