JSC Chechenenergo, controlled by Rosseti North Caucasus, notified 8,116 non-payers of a possible reduction in electricity supplies that await them in February this year.
The total amount of their debt for consumed electricity is 106.2 million rubles. Most of the debtors come from the cities of Grozny, Urus-Martan and Shali.
Without waiting for extreme measures in the form of a power outage, 495 people have already paid for the energy resource used. They replenished the cash register of Chechenenergo JSC by 3.4 million rubles.

“On behalf of the head of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Ramzan Kadyrov, we regularly organize rallies, explaining to debtors how important it is to pay for consumed electricity on time. Often, such preventive talks make it possible to avoid enforcement of debt collection measures against subscribers,” said Said-Ali Kaisarov, deputy managing director — director of the Energosbyt branch.
