Chechnya’s Minister of National Policy, Foreign Relations, Press and Information, Akhmed Dudayev, commented on Paludan’s burning of the Koran on Friday.
“We all remember the wave of indignation caused by the burning of the Koran by Rasmus Paludan on Friday. But not the first time and not the second time. This monstrous act had already become a kind of habit for him. And every time he speaks under the protection of official authorities. You just have to think. The rights of these same LGBT representatives are protected by the collective West and America at the state level. The rights of Muslims are violated in the most egregious way, blatant and public. War has been declared not on Russia, but on everything human and traditional. It is a fight between believers of all faiths and followers of Satanism, a fight between good and evil,” said Akhmed Dudayev.
He stressed that in Russia believers’ feelings and traditional values are protected by the state, the texts of the scriptures are protected by law, Russia does not accept impiety and demoralization, «her defenders will not allow it.» The minister drew attention to the role and authority of the head of the Chechen Republic in the Muslim world.
