This year, the Culture Marathon will be held for the fourth time and will be devoted to the history of fashion and the role of technology in its development. Experts prepared interactive tests, creative competitions and the opportunity to participate in a scientific project for students, their parents and teachers. The marathon will take place online from October 31 to December 9, 2022.
The marathon is organized by Yandex with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
Participants will learn about the history of fashion and how it reflects cultural traditions and regional characteristics. Students will be able to try their hand as stylists and collect relevant photos based on family archives, as well as find out, for example, what color became fashionable after space exploration, how the appearance of purple clothes is related to chemistry, what is a horned kika and how it was invented plastic bottle changed fashion
