Survey data from the All-Russian Center for Public Opinion Research (VTsIOM) indicate that almost half of Russians (47%) believe that higher education guarantees a graduate a well-paid job in the future.
Another 17% are convinced that profiled secondary education is more reliable in this matter. The same number of people stated that specialist secondary education and higher education equally provide opportunities for a well-paid job. Another 12% believe that no education guarantees a good salary in the future.
The all-Russian telephone survey «VCIOM-Sputnik» was held on January 22. 1,600 Russians aged 18 and over took part in the survey. The research method is a telephone interview based on a stratified random sample extracted from a complete list of mobile phone numbers used in the territory of the Russian Federation. The data is weighted according to socio-demographic parameters. The marginal error with a probability of 95% does not exceed 2.5%.
