According to the decree, the payment to the families of the victims will be 5 million rubles, according to a document on the official portal of legal information.
In the event of the death of persons delegated to perform tasks in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lugansk People’s Republic, their family members receive a lump sum of 5 million rubles, the document specifies. Persons injured while performing tasks in the DPR and LPR are entitled to a lump sum of 3 million rubles.
The measure concerns state and municipal employees, other employees of government bodies or institutions subordinate to them, as well as employees of other organizations involved in work to ensure the life of the population or rebuild infrastructure in the Donbas.
Accordingly, the head of state instructed the government and the highest officials of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation to determine, within seven days, the sources of financing the expenditure as well as the procedure for allocating and making payments. The decree comes into force on the day of its signing and concerns legal relations established on February 24 this year, it is included in the document.
