The creators of the WhatsApp messenger have released a new version of the application for the Android operating system. The WABetaInfo portal writes about the appearance of a new option in it. For now, not all users can use it, but only some beta testers for whom it has become available.
A special settings icon will appear in the messenger. By clicking on it, the user will be able to select the quality of the photos in which he wants to send the interlocutor. It is worth noting that WhatsApp still allows you to send photos in «best quality». But the test shows that the system still makes them slightly worse.
The new option will give users more control over the quality of the uploaded photos, especially in situations where a given frame must retain all the original data.
It is still not known when the innovation will appear on the devices of all users. Most likely, the feature will debut in one of the future updates of the application.
