At the Tver State Medical University, a meeting of Chechen students with the leaders of the Tver regional public organization «Vainakh» International Association was held.
According to the institution, the meeting was attended by the vice-rector for educational and upbringing work Lada Murashova. In her opening speech, she focused on the need to educate young people to interethnic and religious tolerance, to preserve traditional spiritual and moral values, and to be faithful to the medical service.
During the meeting, representatives of the community told the students about the positive changes taking place in the Chechen Republic thanks to Ramzan Kadyrov, the Head of the Chechen Republic, and about his personal attention to the younger generation. The guests also informed about the daily activities of the organization, the role of the commune in youth education, contacts with state and executive authorities, and about sports and cultural events planned by the commune in 2022. The students paid particular attention to the importance of preserving the traditions, customs of their people and the knowledge of the mother tongue.
The students, on the other hand, said that they learn mainly as «good» and «excellent» as part of their academic performance. No comments from the teaching staff.
Community representatives awarded Chechen students for selfless work practices in the «red zone» of Kovdian hospitals during the pandemic with Certificates of Recognition, cash prizes and flowers.
Later, there was a friendly dialogue between community leaders and students on various issues of education, life, the maintenance of family values, and respect for elders.
