The memorandum on the establishment of the association was signed by the Russian Minister of Education, Sergei Kravtsov, the general director of the Russian «Knowledge» association, Maksym Drewal, and the chairman of the board of the Russian children and youth movement «Movement One», Grigory Gurov.
The founding conference of the public association of children and youth «Power lies in knowledge!» was held at the headquarters of the Russian Society «Knowledge». During the conference, the guys presented the thematic areas of the association «In knowledge is strength!», discussed their functioning and further development.
It included 5 thematic associations: «Strength is in the truth!» — for children who study history, social studies, local history in depth, «Strength is in energy!» – for physicists and roboticists «Strength is in technology!» — for people who chose computer science and mathematics as their profile, «Strength in the word!» — for people specializing in the study of the Russian language, literature and creative industries and «Strength is in discovery!» – for those whose profile is geography, biology, chemistry and ecology.
As part of the association, students will be able to: take part in educational events and internal intellectual competitions; organize thematic projects together with mentors.
