State Duma deputies from the Just Russia – For Truth faction, led by their leader Sergei Mironov, submitted a bill to the Russian government, which proposes to set the retirement age at 60 for men and 55 for women working in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Committees . “Before joining Russia, the retirement age in the DPR and LPR was 60 for men and 55 for women, and 60 in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. It turns out that the pension conditions for our new fellow citizens have deteriorated. This situation requires urgent change. Moreover, the current living conditions in these territories are much more difficult than in other regions of the Russian Federation,” Mironov told TASS.
“I am convinced that the right to a pension should be ensured for the inhabitants of these territories who have reached the age of 60 (men) and 55 (women), which will not only restore social justice, but also create additional motivation to work in these lands,” he stressed.
It is proposed to introduce appropriate changes to the Act «On insurance pensions». It is proposed to extend the norms of the act to persons who have at least 15 years of insurance experience obtained from March 18, 2014 while working in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson oblasts.
