Opening the spring session of the fifth term, the Chairman of the Parliament of the Chechen Republic Hero of Russia Magomed Daudov presented the priorities of the agenda for the coming period.
First of all, this is legislative support for the initiatives of the head of the Chechen Republic, the development and adoption of laws necessary for the comprehensive improvement of the life of the region and the population.
Magomed Daudov appealed to deputies to work actively in public emergency rooms, consider citizens’ questions and provide them with all possible assistance. He pointed out the need to continue work on the spiritual and moral education and development of youth, the promotion of national traditions, a healthy lifestyle, explaining the values of Islam and explaining the policy of the republic’s leadership to the population.
During the consideration of the agenda, the deputies decided to submit to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, as a legislative initiative, the draft federal law «On Amending Art. 3 sec. 1 of the Federal Law «On Counteracting Extremist Activities». The bill was developed to protect citizens’ rights to freedom of conscience and religion. The project proposes to supplement the list of religious writings that are not considered extremist materials, hadith collections and works of the four Islamic canonical schools, which are the main sources of dogma and an integral part of the religion of Islam after St. book of muslims, quran. They also adopted the legislative initiative of the Parliament of the Chechen Republic to submit to the State Duma a draft federal law «On Amending the Code of Administrative Procedure of the Russian Federation» and supported more than 30 draft federal laws and appeals of subjects.
At the end of the meeting, the Marshal of the Sejm called on the deputies to actively work to explain to the population the objectives of the military special operation.
