A convoy of fifty cars with the state flags of Russia and the Chechen Republic raised went along the route through the village of Nikolaevskaya — the village of Rubeznoye. Participants of the patriotic action visited places of military glory in settlements, monuments, monuments and obelisks of soldiers who gave their lives for the Great Victory, where they laid flowers at the foot of the monuments.
Students of the Naurski district put up a guard of honor at each monument — they made a march in memory of the front soldiers, and also recited poems from the war years.
“Thanks to the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War, not only did we survive as a country, but also preserved our nationalities, culture and native languages. The feat of the Soviet people cannot be overestimated. Victory Day is always in our hearts. Its significance cannot be overestimated and it will not disappear with time. Today, on the eve of the Great Victory Day, we admire the courage of Soviet soldiers and mourn the dead — on May 9, we pay tribute and remembrance to those who put the honor and freedom of the Motherland above all else, ”said Abaz Murtazov, executive secretary of the Naur party branch.
The patriotic action was organized by the federal party project «Historical Memory».
The United Russia ‘Historical Memory’ project monitors the preservation and restoration of historical and cultural monuments. A special direction is also implemented, devoted to preserving the memory of the Great Patriotic War and the inviolability of historical truth. As part of this direction, projects such as «Victory Dictation», «Dedicated to the Defenders of the Fatherland …», «Remembrance Guard», «Memorial Candle» and many others are implemented in the regions.
