On the basis of school No. 34, the Project Office of the Municipal Education System in Grozny was launched, the purpose of which is to improve the effectiveness of the implementation of regional projects of the nationwide project «Education» and the development of the municipal education system by introducing a project approach to the municipal government system.
The project office is a new element in the commune’s management system, whose task is to manage programs aimed at achieving a unique and measurable result in line with the commune’s development strategy. He is the initiator, coordinator, analyst and integrator of project activities, the main stakeholder of urban development projects.
An advisory body, the Project Committee, was appointed, whose task is to make comprehensive decisions regarding projects and manage the implementation of projects.
It is this commission that will set project priorities, approve plans and program schedules, monitor the implementation of the goals of the idea and the compliance of their strategies for the development of the municipal education system.
As part of the inauguration event, the work of project teams was presented.
Five teams applied to the commission, which included representatives of all three universities of the republic, specialists from the Education Department of the Grozny City Hall, heads of educational organizations and teachers led by the head of the Project Office — Deputy Mayor — Head of the Education Department of the Grozny City Hall Zelimchan Akhmatov, original projects in the relevant areas, the development of the municipal education system: personnel work; career counselling; quality of education; gifted children; inclusive education.
The commission has selected several projects to be implemented in Grozny’s urban education system in the future.
“The project office for all its participants means teamwork, developing new skills, creating one municipal bank of advanced ideas, as well as disseminating the experience of the management of municipal schools. I am sure that this project will become a good platform for interaction between management teams focused on the qualitative development of the municipal education system in Grozny,” said Zelimkhan Akhmatov, Deputy Mayor — Head of the Education Department of the Grozny City Hall.
