As emphasized by the authors of the initiative — New People’s deputies to the State Duma headed by head Alexei Nechaev, the Unified State Examination does not need to be abolished, as it will lead to «deterioration of the quality of access to education for a large number of citizens,» but to reform.
«In order to reduce stress for applicants, when students wait for the Uniform State Examination as the time when their fate will be decided and their lives will be divided into before and after, it is proposed to enroll in the legislation the students’ rights within a month during the reserve period of additional term to pass the exam in the relevant academic subject, one must undergo final state re-certification ”- indicate the explanatory materials for the project, RIA Novosti reports.
