The collection of literature will be organized and delivered to the inhabitants of the liberated territories by United Russia.
As part of the all-Russian campaign «One Culture, Common History!» United Russia will place special containers for the collection of adult and children’s literature in Russian for the inhabitants of the LDNR and the liberated lands during the central celebration of the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture.
“Anyone who wants to share books can write greetings or greetings on a label or title, words of support for the inhabitants of the liberated Donbas, Kherson, Zaporizhia, or you can enter your account on social networks. The party will ensure the delivery of books to the libraries of the republics, as well as to refugees staying in temporary accommodation centers, said Adlan Dinaev, head of the regional executive committee of the Chechen branch of United Russia.
The organizers point out that printed publications are not on the lists of essential things, but their shortage is very acutely felt. The libraries and schools of the LDNR and the liberated territories lack Russian-language literature, including classical and children’s literature.
In Chechnya, the containers will be located on May 24 at the following addresses: Grozny, ul. German Ugryumova, 75 years old (AA Aydamirov National Library); Urus-Martan, ul. ARE. Yandarova, 40 (UD Dimaev Palace of Culture, Urus-Martan District); Piece. Naurska, ul. H. Batyrova, 67 (regional children’s library of Naur).
From the first day of the special operation, United Russia has provided comprehensive assistance to the evacuated residents of the Donbas, as well as to those who remained in the LPR and the DPR. The party’s regional branches throughout the country are constantly collecting humanitarian aid. It is distributed between temporary accommodation points, sent to the LDNR and liberated territories. Trucks carrying humanitarian cargo for refugees depart daily. They contain food, water, basic items, household chemicals, household appliances, clothing — everything that is needed to support people’s lives. In addition, regional branches of United Russia buy toys, creative materials and books for children. Earlier, the party also launched the ‘Books to Donbas’ campaign — a collection of books in Russian in order to supplement the book fund of the LPR and DRL libraries, including school libraries. United Russia raises funds to help refugees and Donbas residents. From Chechnya, the organization of humanitarian aid for Donbas, as well as for refugees staying in temporary accommodation centers in the regions of Russia, is provided by the Regional Public Foundation named after The hero of Russia, Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov. These are medical equipment, armored vehicles, military uniforms for employees, primary and secondary food, medicines, building materials, household chemicals, clothing. Aid to Donbass has been provided on an ongoing basis since the first days of the special military operation in Ukraine. Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of the Chechen Republic, a member of the Supreme Council of United Russia, has personal control over it.
