United Russia continues to monitor socially important food products in the Chechen Republic. It aims to fulfill the instructions of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, on the universal control of food prices in connection with anti-Russian sanctions.
Monitoring is carried out in all districts of the republic — the last inspections were carried out in the Grozny, Grozny, Nadterechny, Naursky, Shelkovsky, Kurczaloevsky, Gudermes, Urus-Martanovsky, Shali, Nozhai-Yurtovsky districts.
According to the audit results, in late April / early May there was a slowdown in growth for a large list of products; prices are reduced for some categories.
According to EP activists, in general, high prices for household chemicals and articles of daily use drop by 15%.
The products whose prices have dropped significantly include tomatoes (5%), cucumbers (4.8%), bananas (4%) and sugar (10%).
“The usual set of products will remain on the shelves. Moreover, experts predict a seasonal drop in prices, and representatives of the agro-industrial complex focus on large production volumes. Now, in the face of the strengthening ruble, large retail chains are negotiating with suppliers to normalize logistics and purchase prices, said Adlan Dinaev, head of the regional executive committee of United Russia’s Chechen branch.
In Chechnya, monitoring is carried out by deputies of various levels from United Russia, activists of the United Russia Young Guard, representatives of the departments of the Federal Antimonopoly Service and Rosportrebnadzor of the Chechen Republic, and social organizations.
