“We are preparing to carry out afforestation works as part of the regional project «Forest protection» of the national project «Ecology». In 2023, as part of the nationwide project «Ecology», afforestation and afforestation of 820 ha will be carried out in the republic, he said.
Artificial afforestation will cover an area of 50 ha, natural afforestation — 700 ha, combined afforestation — 50 ha and afforestation — 20 ha. It is also planned to carry out agrotechnical maintenance of forest crops on an area of over 1,200 ha.
Currently, repairs and maintenance of forestry equipment and other means of rolling stock of machines and tractors involved in the implementation of afforestation and afforestation activities are underway. Necessary work equipment is also purchased.
The breeding season is expected to start in early March this year.
