It will protect against new COVID-19 strains, including the «stealth omicron». The region is ready for an increase in incidence: 2,085 beds with 100% oxygen supply can be deployed in carrier centers. A sufficient supply of drugs has also been created to treat patients with COVID-19, the ministry said.

In addition, the Ministry of Health of the Chechen Republic recommends vaccinating residents of the republic who fell ill more than 6 months ago and who were previously re-vaccinated.
