About 100 people took part in the competition.
An amateur chess tournament for people with disabilities was organized by United Russia as part of the federal project United Country — Accessible Environment together with the adaptive sports school Laman Az (Głos Gór).
The competitions were held in the districts of Grozny, Grozny, Kurchaloy, Gudermes — about 100 people took part in them. The winners and participants were presented with cups, diplomas and certificates. The meetings ended with ceremonial afternoon tea.
According to the regional coordinator of the party project «One Country — Accessible Environment» in the Chechen Republic, head of the regional executive committee of the party Adlan Dinaev, the event is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chechen Republic.
“Such meetings help people with disabilities to communicate, and they need that very much. It is worth noting that the broad support of people with disabilities is a large block of the United Russia people’s agenda. For example, people with disabilities can now receive Technical Rehabilitation Measures (RTM) regardless of where they live. Parents of disabled children with disabilities also receive a permanent supplement to the insurance pension. Families with people with disabilities of group I, II or disabled children are entitled to compensation in the amount of 50% of the renovation premium. Also on the initiative of United Russia, pensions and other social benefits will now be awarded without collection. This simplifies their reception, ”said Adlan Dinaev.
Let us remind you that, on the initiative of United Russia, the procedure of taking exams for medical and social expertise has also been simplified. When prescribing examinations, a medical organization must meet three mandatory conditions: free of charge, territorial availability and short lead times.
“Getting a medical referral for a medical and social examination (ITU) for people with disabilities (HIA) should not turn into a marathon with obstacles. It is necessary to develop rules on referring patients so that they can undergo examinations as soon as possible and set a single date for issuing a referral to the ITU, ”said Mikhail Terentyev, coordinator of the party project, deputy chairman of the State Duma, Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans’ Affairs.
