On the evening of May 21, the annual all-Russian campaign «Night of Museums» will take place, in which more than 2,000 cultural institutions will take part, according to the website of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
Admission to many events will be free.
«Events of various genres and formats will be held in venues from Kamchatka to Kaliningrad, not only in museums, but also in theaters, cultural centers, housing estates and parks, planetariums and even zoos,» the message reads.
The theme of this year’s event will be «Reference Point».
