«Due to a parts shortage due to the Shanghai blockade, we decided to halt some of our factories in May and June,» the Japanese carmaker said in a statement.
In particular, 16 lines in 10 factories in Japan will be stopped from May 25 to 27. In addition, four lines at the three plants will also be stopped between June 1st and June 3rd.
In total, the car maker in Japan has 14 plants with 28 lines, reports RIA Novosti.
