The competition was held at the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok.
For three days, almost 350 juniors under 24 from 47 regions of our country competed for prizes in 10 weight categories.
According to the results of the competition, Chechen wrestlers Isaev Hamid took 1st place in the 82 kg weight category. and Islam Aliyev became the silver medalist in the weight category up to 77 kg.
The coaches of the Russian national team flew to the championship — Olympic champion Alan Khugaev and Olympic silver medalist Rustam Totrov. For them, the championship was also a review of candidates for the national team. And before the tournament began, they organized a master class for young wrestlers at the Lotos sports club in the village of Zavodskoy. Outstanding athletes were satisfied with the organization of the championship.
