It is planned to introduce a number of restrictions related to the admission to the management of passenger taxis. The draft law regulating their work was submitted by the Government of the Russian Federation to the State Duma. After submitting the document, it is planned to oblige the taxi ordering services to submit data to the FSB. Thus, it will be possible to become a driver of this car only one year after the restoration of the right to drive the car after its deprivation. In addition, a driver will not be able to drive a taxi if he has more than three traffic tickets.
The project also envisages the creation of a regional taxi register. In total, it is proposed to establish three registers: the regional register of taxi ordering services, the regional register of passenger taxi carriers and the regional register of passenger taxis.
