For the May holidays, maximum epidemiological safety of participants in mass events should be ensured, said Rospotrebnadzor.
The head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, held a teleconference on Wednesday with departments and institutions of Rospotrebnadzor in the entities of the Russian Federation.
“During the meeting, several territorial bodies of Rospotrebnadzor submitted reports on the preparations for the Victory Parade and the campaign of the Immortal Regiment. Anna Popova stressed the need to ensure maximum epidemiological safety to participants of mass events, and also instructed to take all necessary measures to minimize the risk of spreading infection, including COVID-19, during the May holidays, «the press service of the ministry said in a statement.
Popova emphasized that compliance with the set of preventive measures, as well as revaccination, is especially important now, when many citizens plan to take part in mass events dedicated to the celebration of Victory Day.
