Under the cash-back scheme for children, at least 100,000 more vouchers will be purchased by the end of summer, said Zarina Doguzova, head of Rostourism.
«We expect at least 100,000 children to benefit from the program by the end of summer. Parents love it,» said Doguzova at the coordination center under the Russian Federation.
The authorities also expect that under the program at least 450,000 children will be able to rest and improve their health — last year there were over 400,000 of them.
Rostourism has previously launched a state support program for children’s holiday camps. Ticket sales began on the night of March 31 and will run until the end of August. You can go to the children’s camp from 1 May to 30 September inclusive.
The press service of the ministry also announced that a total of 7.5 billion rubles has been allocated to the program this year. Rostourism plans to increase the number of camps participating in the program this year — it will increase to 1.8 thousand. with 1.5 thousand last year. In total, the department has 2,263 recreational camps for children.
The rules of the «cashback for children» program for the new season remain the same: the parent buys the child a ticket to the children’s camp with the Mir card and receives 50 percent of the money spent on the same card within five days. The maximum amount of the refund is 20 thousand rubles. The number of journeys for a child is not limited. Families with several children can get a refund for each ticket purchased, informs RIA Novosti.
