The main objective of the project is to help the inhabitants of the regions find employment.
The project «My career with United Russia» will help prevent unemployment and can become a career advancement for job seekers, noted Andrei Isaev, deputy head of the United Russia faction, during a video conference with the regional branches of the party and the Ministry of Labor , dedicated to launching the project throughout the country.
He recalled that since September 2022, the party project «My career with United Russia» has been operating as a pilot project in five regions: Kaluga, Lipetsk, Ryazan, Kamchatka and the Udmurt Republic. During this time, over 100 events were held, attended by about 10,000 people. These are job fairs, industry trips, trips for young people to regional enterprises.
“Thanks to this career project, a person should be able to fulfill themselves, find a better job option for themselves. Therefore, one of the directions is the organization of thematic meetings with deputies, heads of enterprises, businessmen. They take place with students, where they are familiarized with the basics of business, learn how to write a CV correctly and pass an interview. We assume that one of the forms of the project could be a personal guarantee of a deputy of one level or another to the employer for the employee, which will make it easier for him to find a job in a new place,” Andrey Isaev said.
In addition, the aim of the project is to prevent illegal employment and to investigate broadly understood employment issues.
“Very often, illegal employment results from the illiteracy of employees. They just don’t know what they are missing if the employment contract is not concluded. They do not know that they are left without a pension, without sick leave, without guarantees related to dismissal, without the possibility of receiving maximum unemployment benefits. All this needs to be clarified, ”said the deputy head of the United Russia faction.
As Deputy Minister of Labor Elena Mukhtiyarova informed, as part of the My Career with United Russia project, anyone who applies to the social assistance center or to job-seeking parties will be able to receive help from employment offices in a one-stop shop.
“We are also creating a set of measures of the life situation of close NWO participants. This is not only employment, but also psychological support, retraining. Good practices have already been established in all five pilot projects. By combining the resources of employment offices, parties, and the central public support, we will achieve the necessary synergy effect,” she said.
Andrey Isaev also recalled that United Russia submitted to the State Duma the content of the new law on employment, which was developed together with the Ministry of Labour. The second reading of the bill will be discussed at on the regional pages of the party project «My Career with United Russia».
“The adoption of the law will require the adoption of a number of satellite laws. This is a new law on platform workers and a new law on self-employment,” explained Andrei Isaev.
He also explained that the new version of the Employment Act provides for the creation of special programs to support the employment of citizens who are threatened with dismissal or are employed but would like to change jobs. Not only employees, but also individual entrepreneurs and self-employed who have stopped working will be able to register with the employment services and receive assistance in the full and maximum amount of benefits. A person will be able to do this not only at the place of his registration, but also at the place of actual residence.
Great importance is attached to the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities and other categories. Participants of the NWO and family members of veterans will receive separate support from the employment service.
Experiences from the party project were presented by the pilot regions. In particular, in the Lipetsk region, especially for students and graduates, the regional branch of the party has issued more than 10,000 special workbooks «Youth Employment», which contain instructions on employment and competent CV writing.
Working with the families of NWO participants, the July branch of United Russia develops social tutoring — it organizes additional classes for mobilized people, helping them to prepare for the Unified State Examination and OGE.
In Udmurtia, on the basis of the United Russia Public Support Center, meetings between students and representatives of military-industrial enterprises are held as part of the project, since there is a great need for highly qualified personnel in the region. A series of online webinars has also been launched in the region. The first webinar «Secrets of a successful CV» gathered over 15,000 views.
“The leadership of the Chechen Republic is actively pursuing a policy of promoting employment of the population, helping young people to achieve self-realization. The head of the republic, Hero of Russia, member of the Supreme Council of United Russia Ramzan Kadyrov, has repeatedly personally initiated programs and projects that stimulate the issues of youth employment, self-realization and career development. Thanks to their implementation, hundreds and thousands of the unemployed received help in finding employment. One of many examples is the employment, on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Poland, of several hundred children of law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty. The situation on the labor market in the region is quite stable. Unemployment, which increased by over 25% during the pandemic, fell by half. This was facilitated by the activities undertaken by the voivodeship self-government to support small and medium-sized enterprises, implementation of investment projects, reconstruction and modernization of agricultural and other industrial enterprises, and assistance in employing unemployed citizens. And now the unemployment rate in the region is just under 8%. I am sure that the implementation of the new project «My career with United Russia» will reduce this number even more. Regional employment services are fully prepared to cooperate in this respect. All the necessary conditions and opportunities at the regional level have long been created and exist. I am convinced that the Chechen Republic will become one of the leaders in terms of the best indicators and project implementation results,” said Usman Bashirov, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Development of the Chechen Republic, member of the United Russia Regional Political Council.
In conclusion, Andrey Isaev noted that the regional branches of United Russia will exchange successful employment practices on a monthly basis.
Recall that the party project «My career with United Russia» began on September 1 in five pilot regions — Lipetsk, Ryazan, Kaluga, Kamchatka and Udmurtia. It was established to provide information and advisory support to employees and employers.
Experts and Members of Parliament who will be able to apply to employers will participate in interviews, tests and consultations when looking for a job. The project also organizes meetings of legal experts from employers and employment service employees who provide advice on career development, CV writing and successful interviews.
