The educational course within the framework of the federal party United Russia project «Safe Roads» is aimed at preventive work with students and their parents before the summer holidays. Until May 26, activities aimed at preventing road accidents for children are being carried out in the region.
In all regions of the Chechen Republic, open lessons are organized with subsequent tests for knowledge of traffic rules. The speakers are senior students — young road traffic inspectors together with representatives of the traffic police department, deputies and executive secretaries of United Russia.

Schoolchildren participated in conditional situations, answered questions, studied road signs, passed the mini-test «What type of cyclist are you?».
The inspector for the prevention of road safety of the Department of the State Road Safety Inspection of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia for the city of Gudermes, police captain Kamil Ustarchanov, discussed in detail the rules of cycling, analyzed traffic situations and warned both parents and children about the responsibility of abolishing the rules of data breaches. He also informed about changes to the road traffic regulations that came into force, paying particular attention to the rules of using reflective elements. Particular emphasis was placed on explaining the topics of «road traps» encountered on the way to school, road crossing safety.
“Statistical data shows that every second accident on urban roads is a collision with pedestrians. Since more such incidents occur in conditions of insufficient lighting, the presence of reflective elements is mandatory, which is enshrined in the law of the Russian Federation. It is desirable that there are glare on caps, bags, backpacks, shoes. Bicycles, scooters, prams should be equipped with reflectors, ”said Kamil Ustarchanow.
