United Russia has a direct line with the regions. Its participants could directly ask questions about the organization of the admission procedure to universities.
The organization of the recruitment campaign in 2022 was the focus of United Russia’s first direct line with university chancellors, school principals, high school students and their parents from all over the country. They could directly contact the coordinator of the direction of the people’s program of the party Modern Education and Advanced Science, chairwoman of the State Duma Committee on Education Olga Kazakova, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science Alexander Mazhuga, Minister of Science Valery Falkov, Deputy Minister of Education Dmitry Afanasyev and head of Rosobornadzor Anzor Muzayev.
As Valery Falkow said, at the beginning of the recruitment campaign, with the support of United Russia, the super service «Admission to online universities» was improved.
“A huge number of school graduates will be able to apply for admission through the portal of the State Services. The service enables the implementation of specific rights — in the case of applicants in electronic form, this may be taken into account. And we have seriously strengthened agreements with universities and created a support service in all matters, ”said Valery Falkov.
He also noted that this year universities have an unprecedented number of state-funded places — 580,000. First of all — medical, pedagogical and engineering. A further 30,000 state-funded places in the master’s program have also been created.
In turn, Aleksander Mazhuga recalled that on behalf of the Russian president Vladimir Putin and with the support of United Russia, the number of budget seats was increased. An additional 45,000 seats have been allocated.
United Russia also supports increasing the number of seats in the judiciary by 30,000. This is an opportunity to raise your qualifications and increase the demand on the labor market, said Alexander Mazhuga.
He also stressed that the party, together with MGER, would control the renovation of student dormitories, initiated and financed from the budget of United Russia.
“We have achieved that at least 300,000 square meters of hostels across the country will be refurbished. And we look forward to hearing your feedback — when you are a student — to understand how the living conditions meet the requirements you are making, said Alexander Mazhuga to high school students.
They, in turn, were interested in exams and benefits for admission to universities. Primorye students, for example, were interested in considering creative achievement when entering universities. The first deputy minister of education, Dmitry Afanasyev, noted that the list of achievements was expanding every year, and each university may have its own. TRP badges, gold, silver and bronze will also be considered. The issue of accounting for creative achievements «United Russia» will cooperate with the Ministry of Culture, said Olga Kazakova.
“TRP has accurate indicators. They are derived and the norm can be calculated, while for creative competitions the indicators are subjective. Together with the Ministry of Culture, we will work on this topic and see if it is possible to create an objective system for assessing achievements in creative competitions, which can be treated as a standard — she said.
The possibility of taking into account the creative achievements of students when entering universities will be developed at the level of the Government of the Russian Federation.
“Universities can take into account any independent student achievement. On the university’s website, there are lists of those competitions and achievements that are taken into account for applicants. It is recommended to carefully read the information on the university’s website that the applicant plans to enter. As for the TRP, this year not only gold badges, but also silver and bronze ones will be taken into account, and even if the student failed to obtain a certificate, an extract from the Ministry of Sport’s order that they have passed the standards «- said the regional coordinator of the party project «New School», Ilyas Taaev, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Chechen Republic.
Novosibirsk schoolchildren asked a question about targeted education. Work is currently underway to create a unified register of employers who are ready to provide such an opportunity, said Alexander Mazhuga.
“We communicate a lot with employers on the United Russia website. There is an interesting experience of individual companies that post a «Targeted Training» section on their website. But the initiative to create a single register is being worked out, ”said the MP.
Teachers and school principals asked about reducing bureaucratic burdens. The relevant bill has already been submitted to the State Duma, and the party will draw up a list of documents that teachers will have to fill in at the Ministry of Education.
“When we consider a bill in first reading in the State Duma, we will work on amendments together with teachers. You will also need to work on the content of the documents that teachers fill in. In the case of duplicate documents, the duplicate should be removed. If you can get it from some digital database of faculties, you have to take it and not burden the teachers — emphasized Olga Kazakova.
Separately, in the direct line, they stopped with the participation in the recruitment campaign of graduates of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, refugees and compatriots.
“We also took into account all the interests of these guys. The State Duma and the Government met in the middle of the meeting and the relevant amendments to the law were adopted. If they want to enter the university, we take it into account in our procedures, ”concluded Anzor Muzaev.
