Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to support the idea of increasing educational content on Russian TV channels, he said at a meeting with the director general of the Knowledge Society, Maxim Dreval.
During a meeting with the head of state in the Kremlin, Dreval suggested in particular that films, game formats, lectures, content about the country’s geography and history should be shown more often on TV channels.
«If you support us, we will work, also with colleagues from TV channels, to be able to put our educational content on TV,» he said.

In addition, the head of the Knowledge Society proposed to extend scholarship support for lecturers and educators and noted that the participation of the head of state as a lecturer always gives a very strong impetus to the development of the project, reports RIA Novosti.
