Engineering classes for shipbuilding and aviation will appear in Russian schools, the Ministry of Education has developed appropriate recommendations, the ministry’s press service reports.
“The Ministry of Education of Russia has developed guidelines for the creation of shipbuilding and aviation engineering classes. The first such classes will be created in the next academic year. Students who showed high results in mathematics, physics and computer science will be able to learn in them, ”reads the report.
The document defines the criteria for including schools in the project, including exemplary additional general education and general development programs. The functioning of specialized engineering classes in the shipbuilding and aviation industry will ensure in-depth training of students in basic natural science disciplines, as well as create conditions for vocational guidance, according to the RIA Novosti report.
