At a working meeting with the Minister of Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy of the Chechen Republic, Isa Ibragimov, the results of the ministry’s work in the implementation of state programs and national projects, as well as plans for the current year were discussed. This was reported by the head of the government of the Chechen Republic on his telegram channel.
Thanks to the attention, support and direct participation of the head of the Chechen Republic of Hero of Russia Ramzan Kadyrov, the sports industry and youth policy of the region are actively developing. Significant progress has been made in these areas in project and program activities over the past year, with 100% achievement of key indicators.
And so, as part of the regional project «Sport is the norm of life», in 2022 the first indoor football hall in the republic was built. A unique sports facility is planned to be commissioned later this year.
As part of the Federal Targeted Investment Program and the state program, it is planned to start construction of 5 more facilities in 2023 and 2024: a wrestling center, a fencing complex, a tennis school, a universal sports complex with swimming pools and a sports complex.
Isa Ibragimov also said that intensive work is underway with the federal center on the construction of a rowing canal on the Chernorechenskoye reservoir in Grozny, a canoeing and kayaking center on Lake Kazenoy-Am, and TRP grounds.
After the meeting, Muslim Khchiev set the task of working closely with the federal center to work out problematic issues, as well as to strengthen work to develop physical culture and mass sports.
