Foreign energy companies covered by Moscow’s retaliatory sanctions will no longer be able to participate in the process of gas supplies from Russia. Restrictions on them are blocking, said the press secretary of the president of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
On the eve of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation, it approved the list of legal entities against which retaliatory sanctions are imposed. It was made up of 31 organizations from Germany, France and other European countries, as well as Singapore and the USA. Among them are the former European subsidiaries of Gazprom, traders and operators of underground gas storage facilities.
«There are also blocking sanctions against these companies,» said a Kremlin spokesman in response to the question how such a decision will affect gas supplies to Europe — «Therefore, there will be no relationship with these companies, they are simply prohibited.» Peskov confirmed that «these companies can no longer participate in the process» of gas supplies from the Russian Federation.
— Most likely other companies will be involved in the process. Contact Gazprom for details, added TASS.
