In 2023, 298 young families living in Chechnya will receive state support under the sub-programme «Providing Housing for Young Families», reports the Ministry of Construction and Housing of the Chechen Republic.
To support young families, the state provides social benefits amounting to 35% of the estimated cost of housing. In accordance with the tasks outlined by the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, the relevant authorities attach great importance to the issue of housing policy.
“A young family can be considered in need of better housing conditions if the living area per family member is less than the established accounting standard. In addition, the family must confirm the availability of funds for the subsidy for the purchase of the apartment. This year, under the implemented sub-program, it is planned to provide state aid for the purchase of flats for 298 families, i.e. 1,429 people, said Alisa Ibragimova, Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Chechen Republic.
One of the conditions for participation in the program is that the spouses cannot be older than 35 years. The presence or absence of children does not affect participation in the program, but if there are children in the family, then the amount of assistance may be increased.
