02/02/2023. The event as part of the Year of the Chechen Language, which was held at the Ministry of Economy, Territorial Development and Trade of the Chechen Republic, was attended by MPs of the Chechen Republic Adnan Nagaev and Alamachad Elsaev.
The participants of the event, which included the ministry’s leadership, staff, as well as honorary guests from the parliament of the Chechen Republic, emphasized that each representative of the Chechen nation is obliged to make a personal contribution to the preservation, development and popularization of the native language, which is an invaluable wealth and good for us with the traditions and customs of the people.
They emphasized that the first president of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia, Akhmat-Khaji Kadyrov, paid close attention to the issues of caring for the native language, and today, the Head of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia, Ramzan Kadyrov, who announced the year 2023, demonstrates his love for his people, language, customs and traditions . Year of the Chechen language.
Participants of the event noted that all the necessary conditions for the development of the Chechen language, which has the status of a state language next to Russian, have been created in the Chechen Republic. They emphasized that representatives of the scientific and creative intelligentsia, the printed media and the media receive comprehensive support and assistance as part of their work on the popularization of the language. According to them, this is why the Chechen Language Day was initiated by the head of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Ramzan Kadyrov, back in 2007.
At the end of the meeting, they concluded that every representative of the Chechen nation has a duty to protect their native Chechen language, develop it and pass it on from generation to generation.
