На майские праздники жители ЧР предпочли остаться дома

Nine out of ten people in the Chechen Republic spent a long weekend at home or in the republic. At the same time, the number of tourists from other regions increased in early May. Such conclusions were drawn by MegaFon experts on the basis of big data analysis.

In the period from April 30 to May 10, 93% of the republic’s population did not leave its borders, preferring to do housework and trips around the region. Those who chose more distant routes preferred the following directions:

Dagestan, Moscow and the region, Ingushetia, Stavropol Territory, North Ossetia.

The influx of tourists from other regions to the Czech Republic in the first ten days of May increased by 10.5% compared to the same period in April. Most often he came from the Tyumen region — 14% of all guests of the republic, Dagestan — 11%, Moscow and the region — 8%. Further, in descending order, guests from the Kurgan, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Tula.

At the same time, the Chechnya Republic was not one of the most popular May destinations among the inhabitants of the country’s capital. Most Muscovites chose Saint Petersburg, Sochi, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan and Ryazan for their holidays. The influx of visitors from Moscow to the southern resorts has decreased — Sochi, with a slight increase, retained its position in the most visited cities, and due to the closure of air traffic, Anapa, Gelendzhik and Krasnodar, popular in recent years, lost 17% of tourists.
