A bridge is being built on the Sernovodsk-Grozny regional road as part of the national project Safe high-quality roads, informed the Ministry of Highways of the Chechen Republic.
“As part of the national project, the construction of a bridge over 5 km of the Sernovodsk-Grozny highway is underway. The bridge under construction is a single-span, metal structure, ”reads the report.
According to the ministry, the existing bridge here was in poor condition, and therefore it was decided to include it in the national design program. The bridge is 37.5 m long and 14.8 m wide. Currently, works on the assembly of bank supports are underway.
The road on which the bridge is being built is an important direction for the region. It connects the Chechen Republic with the Republic of Ingushetia, and the regions of Grozny, Aczkoj-Martan and Sernovodsk of the republic with the city of Grozny.
According to the contractor’s representatives, the new bridge will meet modern regulatory requirements. Its construction is to be completed by the end of November this year. — informs the press service of the head and government of the Chechen Republic.
