Young Guard activists took to the central streets of Grozny to organize a patriotic event in support of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine.
During the action, the Young Guardsmen presented the inhabitants and guests of the region with ribbons of St. George. It is worth adding that the citizens willingly accepted the ribbons, expressed their gratitude and support for our defenders.
Participants of the action also learned that the colors of the ribbon of St. George have a deep symbolic meaning — they are the colors of gunpowder and fire, Victory, courage and heroism, a symbol of memory and respect for veterans.
St. Patrick’s Ribbon George is one of the most recognizable symbols of Russian reality in recent years. Initially, it was an encouragement during the period of the Russian Empire and meant a symbol of loyalty, courage and prudence, manifested in brave deeds.
“During this difficult time, the support of the people is very important and necessary for all of us for the military of the Russian Federation. We express our gratitude to our defenders for a peaceful skies,» said Wischan Ganatov, an activist of the Chechen regional branch of the «Young Guard».
