The deputy head of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Grigory Gurov, speaking about cooperation with the DPR and LPR, said that departments of leading Russian universities are opening in the Donbas.
“Now, in our interaction with the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, we are obviously concerned with restoring the education system in organizations. We have repaired our leading universities, and now we are opening faculties of leading universities in the territories, ”said Gurow at the plenary session of the Forum of Young Parliamentarians in the Federation Council.
According to him, all state support activities carried out within the framework of the Russian Federation will also be aimed at supporting the citizens of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics.
Earlier, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation established a list of Russian partner universities of LPR and DPR universities. The head of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Valery Falkov, signed an ordinance on cooperation between the universities of Russia, the DPR and the LPR, according to which it is recommended to create conditions for Donbas graduates to obtain a double diploma. The head of the Federal Youth Agency (Rosmolodez), Ksenia Razuwajewa told RIA Novosti that specialized departments of Russian universities may appear at the universities of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republic in the next academic year, which will allow Donbas students to refuse to leave their homeland for double diplomas, reports RIA .
