The management led by the first deputy project manager of the Rally — «Jedwabna Droga» Wiktor Sokołów came to the Chechen Republic to inspect the «Szełkowska-Naurskaya» route.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the formation of an organizing committee to prepare and conduct the rally. Wiktor Sokolov said that the route of the International Silk Road Marathon 2022 Rally from Astrakhan to Moscow will run through Grozny from 10 to 13 July 2022. The race will coincide with the 350th birthday of Emperor Peter I.
In addition to the Chechen Republic, the rally will also be held in Elista, Volgograd, Voronezh and will end in Moscow on July 16, 2022.
