The family support system in Russia will cover more than 10 million children, the amount of expenditure on it will amount to 1.2 trillion rubles annually, informed the head of the Ministry of Labor, Anton Kotiakov.
He thanked the head of state for the command to create an integrated support system for families with children.
«Overall, looking at the entire system, we estimate that it will cover more than 10 million children raised in families experiencing certain difficulties, including financial difficulties. The total amount of expenditure on this system per year will amount to 1.2 trillion rubles,» he said at a meeting with President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
The minister also noted that over five million children will be covered by the subsidy for children aged 8 to 17, for which approximately 506 billion rubles will be allocated.
Kotiakov also told Putin that the transition to proactive one-app delivery of all support measures, including the level of topics, is expected by the end of 2024. By the end of 2022, the Ministry of Labor plans to transfer all major social assistance measures to the federal level, reports RIA Novosti.
