GROZNY, February 2 — RIA Novosti. The nephew of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov — 26-year-old Khamzat Kadyrov appointed to the position of Minister of Property and Land Relations of the region.
“He held a meeting of the regional government. He introduced the members of the Cabinet of Ministers to the new Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Property and Land Relations of the Chechen Republic, Khamzat Kadyrov. Khamzat is a talented and executive leader. He proved it by achieving high results in previous positions in state and local government authorities. I wish him good luck in his new position,» Kadyrov wrote on Vkontakte.
Khamzat Kadyrov graduated from the Khafiz School in 2012, after which he was appointed headmaster of the Khafiz School in the home village of Akhmat-Yurta named after Zelimkhan Kadyrov (Ramzan Kadyrov’s older brother). In 2017, he graduated from the Faculty of Public Administration of the Chechen State University. He held managerial positions in the region, including assistant to the head of Chechnya, head of the administration of the Kurchaloyev municipal district, minister of physical culture and sports of Chechnya and head of the secretariat of Chechnya.
