GROZNY, February 27 — RIA Novosti. School children in Chechnya have been offered to pay for public transport on Fridays, the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Chechnya reports.
“On the initiative of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Chechen Republic, public transport will become free for all Chechen students if the student shows the driver a grade of «five» in the diary. In this way, we want to encourage the younger generation to excel in science,” he told RIA Novosti in a press release.
In addition, school students will be able to take advantage of a free trip to Chechen language or literature Fridays twice as part of the Year of the Chechen Language (2023 was declared the Year of the Chechen Language in the region).
