The State Television and Radio Company «Vainakh» became the owner of the special jury award of the 3rd North Caucasian Film Festival «Kinokavkaz — 2022» for reflecting the life of people with special needs in the nomination «Best TV documentary».
The television and radio company also received a diploma in the «Television Documentary» nomination.
The short film «Without Barriers» was included in the film festival among 360 works from 13 regions of Russia, as well as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The jurors of the film festival appreciated the touching story of the main character of the film, Amanda Asukhanov, who, despite a difficult fate, does not lose her faith, fortitude and adequately overcomes life’s difficulties.
The award ceremony was held on the slopes of Elbrus. The TV channel GTRK «Vainakh» was presented by the deputy director of the company Aslambek Aripkhanov.
“They say that such an award was awarded for the first time in the history of this festival. The job was very good and I didn’t want to be left unattended as they said. Many works have been presented here, which have been filmed over the years with the use of professional equipment. And our work was done in a week, but it was rated as very good, ”said Aslambek Aripkhanov.
The film festival presented works in three categories: short fiction films, short animated films and TV documentaries.
