Dmitry Rogozin, the former general director of Roscosmos and the head of the Tsar’s Wolves military advisory group, announced the delivery of new Russian satellite communication terminals for the army to the DPR.
“I believe that space communications in the military, of course, should be. We made the first compact sets, they have already been delivered to one of the artillery brigades, they have shown good results,» the source told the agency.
Rogozin noted that military space communication systems were developed on the basis of civilian solutions already offered by Russian enterprises.
According to the head of Tsarsky Volkov, the algorithms had to be refined so that they could be fully used «on the front line, even when such communication channels are suppressed by the enemy’s electronic warfare.» At the same time, Rogozin did not provide details of the new product, explaining that otherwise it would be easier for the enemy to find ways to jam radio signals.
