02/10/2023. In a significant list of events of the Parliament of the Chechen Republic dedicated to the Year of the Chechen Language, meetings of deputies with parent committees of educational organizations occupy a special place.
This is motivated by a number of important circumstances, among which one of the key ones is the responsibility of the parental community for the formation of the young generation. And it undoubtedly assumes the preservation of our national identity, the core of which is the native language as a permanent value.
A long and exciting conversation on this topic was held with Deputy Marshal BA Khazbulatov and Deputy Sh.Sh. Chabagaeva with members of the parent committee of the secondary school from. Oktyabrskoye, Grozny city district.
The communication, which took place in a small hall, focused on the perception of the mother tongue as the core of Chechen vitality. This, according to MPs, is an axiom for those who speak and speak their native language. However, they continued that there is a significant proportion of parents who: a) know but do not want to talk about it; b) they do not know him well and do not want to know him.
A similar situation, noted BA Khazbulatov and Sh.Sh. Chabagaev points out that the problem of the attitude of the elderly to the native language has a greater impact on children’s perception of it.
In discussing this, MPs have reasonably established that at home parents allow their foreign language environment to overwhelm their native language environment. Understanding the existence of other reasons for the disloyal attitude of children to the mother tongue, it was pointed out that the decisive factor is the family, which has an undeniable potential in creating a linguistic atmosphere conducive to introducing young people to the mother tongue. At home, the child develops initial concepts of reality, things are called by their native language names.
Speaking about the place of the educational organization and other institutions dealing with the study and preservation of the mother tongue, the deputies underlined that the preservation of the language is a state task that can be successfully solved only with the right goals set by the parent. community.
Considering this current, although not always adequately perceived, problem, it was emphasized that its implementation is possible in various ways, but the first, simplest and desirable among them is the communication of parents with each other and with the child in the native language, because only through the native word the child becomes become the son or daughter of his people.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Marshal BA Khazbulatov and Deputy Sh.Sh. Chabagaev turned to his parents with a request to understand that the preservation of their native language, which connects human souls, the lives of ancestors with our lives, depends mainly on them.
