04/25/2022. The round table «Chechen language in educational institutions: the state and prospects» was characterized by relevance and informal consideration of the issues discussed, which was held in the Small Hall of the supreme legislative body of the region as part of the 100th anniversary of Chechen statehood.
The moderator of this forum was the Deputy Speaker of the Seym of the Chechen Republic, doctor of philology, prof. Khazbulatov, and the participants were Chechen language teachers and MPs, members of the Education, Science and Culture Commission.
In live communication, each speaker tried to briefly form his opinion on the current state of teaching Chechen language students and future changes.
Noting in solidarity that the existing positive results are the result of the creative linguistic policy of the head of the Hero of Russia, RA Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen Republic of Russia, the participants of the Round Table identified problematic aspects: insufficient professional level of some primary school teachers, traditional communication of students in Russian, possible reduction in the number of hours in Chechen with due to planned changes in the school curriculum. And most importantly, all those who became the refrain of each speech paid special attention to the indifferent attitude of parents to the Chechen language, which does not motivate their children to take the Chechen language seriously, both at school and outside it.
Handing honorary diplomas and valuable gifts in connection with the Chechen Language Day to teachers who spoke frankly and skillfully about the discussion, BA Chazbulatov and his colleagues clearly stated the need to subordinate all our thoughts and deeds to the preservation of our native Chechen language, because it is a shrine given to us by our loved ones.
