February 17, 2023. A regular meeting of the Committee of the Parliament of the Chechen Republic for Education, Science and Culture was held. Under the chairmanship of BA Khazbulatov, the deputies discussed the items on the agenda.
First, the parliamentarians considered the draft law of the Chechen Republic, prepared by the Committee, «On Amendments to the Law of the Chechen Republic, «On Education in the Chechen Republic». BA Khazbulatov, representing him, informed the parliamentarians about the nature of the proposed changes. They consist in extending the powers of the state authorities of the Chechen Republic to develop federal educational programs and establishing a procedure for recognizing organizations as innovation platforms.
Deciding to send the discussed Republican bill to the relevant departments and organizations for feedback, suggestions and comments, the deputies examined the initiative of the State Duma, which consolidates the concept of «scientific (scientific and technical) expertise» and establishes a procedure for its implementation.
Considering the positive nature of the proposed changes, the parliamentarians approved the presented draft of the federal act.
The last part of the meeting was devoted to the implementation of planned activities dedicated to the Year of the Chechen Language.
Briefly informing colleagues about the implementation of scheduled meetings, talks, round tables and competitions, BA Khazbulatow noted that their timely and substantive behavior testifies to the understanding of the importance of parliamentary work aimed at popularizing the mother tongue.
