“247 thermal points were registered daily in the territory of the Russian Federation, of which 213 were confirmed (136 — natural (landscape) fires, 68 — vegetation burning, 9 — waste incineration). Thermal points posing a threat to housing estates and farm buildings, there were no 96 forest fires on an area of 42 285.94 ha, of which 5 forest fires were located on an area of 358 ha.
They also added that over 4.4 thousand people, 756 pieces of equipment and six planes took part in extinguishing forest fires.
