The Minister of Culture of the Chechen Republic, Aishat Kadyrova, organized the Days of Chechen Culture in Tatarstan under the slogan «No culture, no nation», which coincide with the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Chechen Autonomous Region. Various cultural events were held in Tatarstan as part of the event.
In particular, the Museum of the Chechen Republic organized the first visiting exhibition in Kazan after the reconstruction, a reception for the Chechen delegation at the Saidash Cultural Center was organized, as well as a trip to the Kazan Kremlin museum-reserve and the Kul Sharif mosque. Aishat Kadyrova also met with the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
At the behest of Rustam Minnikhanov, Aishat Kadyrova visited Uram Park in Kazan. The guests from the Chechen Republic also visited the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan. Maria Kryukova, an employee of the park, gave a tour of the Chechen delegation.
After the tour, the Minister of Culture of the Chechen Republic was asked to leave a memorable signature in the book of honorary guests of the museum.
Later, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Irada Ayupova, organized a ceremonial reception for Aishat Kadyrova at the Tatarskaya Usadba restaurant. In her welcoming speech, Irada Ayupova noted that the celebration of the Days of Chechen Culture in the Republic of Tatarstan is an opportunity to submit and develop joint projects. She expressed the hope that such meetings would become a tradition. The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan presented Aishat Kadyrova with a copy of the first printed Koran, issued as part of the events commemorating the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria. As a gift, she also received a book of recipes of national Tatar cuisine.
Also one of the points of Aishat Kadyrova’s working visit was the unique «Yardem» mosque. There, the Minister of Culture of the Chechen Republic purchased two paintings, painted by an artist whose hands are paralyzed and who is doing his job by «putting» a brush on his head.
The official end of the Days of Chechen Culture in the Republic of Tatarstan was a concert of the masters of art of the Chechen Republic at the Tatar State Philharmonic named after G. Tukaja.
Let us recall that the delegation included the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Chechen Republic — Plenipotentiary Representative of the Chechen Republic to the President of the Russian Federation Bekhan Tajmaskhanov, Minister of Tourism of the Chechen Republic Muslim Baitaziyev and the representative of the head of the Chechen Republic in the Republic of Tatarstan Aslambek Berdukaev.
