For the first time since February 2022, the Russian car manufacturer AvtoVAZ can launch all assembly lines at the Togliatti and Izhevsk enterprises, returning from an unplanned corporate holiday on April 25, writes the Drome portal.
The manufacturer managed to purchase the required number of electronic components for almost all LADA models. The only exception was Niva Legend, for which you could not buy ABS sensors manufactured by Bosch, the source writes. It was also announced that the modern Niva Travel is equipped with such sensors and will be produced.
The launch of production may contribute to reducing the shortage of LADA Largus, Granta, Vesta, XRAY and Niva Travel models. Recall that AvtoVAZ previously postponed this year’s summer corporate vacation to April 4-24 in order to restore component supply chains.
